Hej,
D DAY - 1 before the IRT Grades , i'm scared!!!!
This morning i was so fed up with the kitchen and its disgusting smell , i decided to clean it , it took me a while but it worth it , now it's white again, and healthy to cook.
I kept on my writting and started the theoretical part !!!! My peer student wrote me , he's french and look forward to come here in January.

Today still working on IPE paper , but i'm going pretty well , better than i expected, this morning i went to the bank to pay the rent to Studenbostader . While i was in town i did some shopping at H&M and then went back home.

Hej,

Today, we had the last class with Erik , so boring , knowing that i got up at 7H30 ( because studenbostader cut the hot water for the day) to see that !!!
Anyway , he warned us again , not to cheat otherwise he will report us and give us bad grades!

After that i ate lunch with Barbara, Anja, Sabrina, Richard, Masha, Loic and Arthur , and then averyone (almost) went to work to the library!!!
Since i had english class at 3 i did not stayed that long , but still i had time to read some stuff , it is so peaceful there , with personal desk, confortable armchairs....

The english class was quite empty , i do not know why , but we worked on how to reference a book, how to do foot/end notes .....

Hej,

Today, the class of IPE was so boring for me , maybe it was because i was so tired , after having a bad night. 3 hours of Debt crisis and SAP's that's kind of long. Then we had a meeting for the BT ( Brussels trip) , Barbara handled it quite well ! Chapeau!
Then at 5PM Swedish class , the last official class of the semester , bye bye Peder , we'll miss you. He handin the topic for the oral exam !! So much work in addition to Written exam and IPE
Then he and his collegue , danced , sing traditional songs , and serves swedish coke and cookies , it was so nice from them. Honestly , the cookies tasted like speculos (Belgian cookies , i love them) and the coke stink so bad it's impossible for non swedish to drink it !!

Dimanche 26 Novembre

Hej,

Today i was invited by Herle to a Salsa's dinner , with Towe , a friend , and Barbara. Knowing that he was gonna cook as usual , a , lot , i did not eat that much during the day.
We were invited by 7 Pm , we started with Chips , guacamole, then apetizer , really good , with a lot of imagination , then as a starter , a mexican pie.
That was just the beggining !!! after we had marvelous fajitas , with rice , salsa , peper , the perfect match . And to fiinish , a fard breton ( French dessert) , i can tell i was so full, my stomach hurt and i did not sleep well. It was a nice dinner , really well done but too much food , to my opinion!!!

Hej,

Again reading , it takes to much time !! , but while reading , i made my first attempt in bread baking , and i have to say that it is not bad at all , fot her first time ! The only funny thing is that it rised just on one side !!! do not know why !

I went to Barbara's later on to talk and plan the London Trip (7/12-12/12) , what we want to see , to do ... we bought tichet to see the sleeping beauty , a ballet , it's my dream!!!
I can't wait to go there , and get away from Linkoping for a while , just to see something else !!

That's it , i have the started to read the books for the 2nd assignement , so far , 5 books to read and 2 working papers . Then for sure a certain number of websites , now i can compete with Juan LOL and his 200 pages !!!

When i'm fed up with reading , i changed and started the Swedish Home Assignement , that's fun and relaxing , in a way ....

I got my grades from Berkeley , and it's good !!

After i went to the library , did you actually know that there was 3 floors in this library ? I found my readings for this weeks , debt crisis in Tanzania and the consequences on development.

Hej,
Today , 3 hours class with Erik and International Politics Economy, the course was interesting but a bit desorganized though. He tried to explain in 2H30 what takes 2 chapters in the book!!
He spend 30 minutes , to tell us that a an important part of the class has cheated ! What the ....
Because some people did copy/paste and used wikipedia as their main source/reference , he was quite pissed off , but he said he would wait the next assignment to report the class to the university commission. What a sweet boy !

Anyway , he gave us the grades , so it went from G7 to U1 , which mean that G is Pass and U is fail , 7 is like A on the ECTS grades and 1 is like FF , do you get it ?
I passed , so i'm happy but next time i want to do better, and show him , that there's no cheaters in this class.

After that i went to the Swedish class , he handed in the Homework examination , hopefully we have 2 weeks to get through it , then next week , he'll give us the topic to prepare the oral examination on the fourth of december.

Hej,
Koridor party time , as Herle's went back to Linkoping , he organized a party with his koridor mates. I can tell you this guy knows how to cook , Quiche lorraine , Apple pie, Crumblr, Pizza ... , he cooked for hours , and it was really good , but we were all so full!!!
It was also the Lego trippen Kraval yesteday , it's time to show your overall guys !!

Then i spend the afternoon with my roomates cooking and chatting , it got dark at 4 , and we got pretty tired by then , but you only have this feeling for a while , then you are ready to go out!!

That's it , i handed out the paper , by mail , i'm so relieved, but grrrrrrrr Per ...... has not corrected the paper yet come on ! Gimme a break!
Anyway , i went to Tornby to buy a saddle at Biltema ( someone stole mine ) , went to the train station to buy my ticket for December. then ICA MAXI to buy some groceries.
I went back home and i went to experienced the Swedish Sauna , it SOOOOOOO HOTTTTTTTT, it's like Thailand in July , you cannot breath , and drink like , 2 liter of water in 1/2 hour.

Hej,
This morning i worked on my paper , reading, reading and reading , now i know everything about Thai economy since the collapse of the Kingdom of Ayutthaya !!!
Then i went by my old place to took some mail and the book i was waiting for ( about english grammar)!!
By 3 i went to my English class , i was quite scared when it began to rain , but then it stopped ! OUF!!!!
The class went well as usual , we did some work on paragraph and topic sentence and also wrotte 20 lignes about one imposed topic , i took child labour!!
After i went to campus hallen to exercize then home !!

Lundi 13 Novembre

Hej,
Well this morning we were supposed to have class at 10 , and guess what ! the guy didn't show up , that is so not responsible nor professional!!
We still wait for 30 minutes but then went home or in my case to exercise in Campus hallen.
Then i went to the Library to llok for some books to do the paper about IPE , i did not start yet , but i pick my country and the institutions i'm gonna write about !

Later in the afternoon , i went to the Swedish class , this time we were split into 4 groups , to do some work on the Exercize/Textbook and telling a bit more about our country to Peder.
SO FUN!!! During the last 1/2 the two other groups went by AGAIN to watch this weird show which could be called ANDREI AND HIS FRIEND .....

Hej,
This weekend nothing special, just hanging around with the mates in the corridor, Watching TV , doing English and Swedish Homework.There was a party at Richard's , it was quite nice , the theme was "What am i doing here" so people invited were suposed to wear special outfitt.
I did , i was like a medical student , but i think 80% of the guests did not !!!
People were getting drunk very fast , because as one swedish told me , they ned to get drunk to overcome their shyness!!

Today , what a surprise no class , well i figure it out something else to do , like .... reading the book about Global Political economy!!!
In the afternoon i went with Barbara and Arthur to Theona's (2nd year) to discuss about the Brussel's trip .... Now that we have all the informations , we can start as soon as Barbara will send a mail to Gooch to set the dates!
In the evening i went to Masha's to meet her french friends , but she was going to leave for plato so i did not stayed to long. I went to Barbara's to hang out before she leave (she's going back to Warsaw for a few days)
Then home and sleep!!

Hej,
It's already one week since i moved in , so far I LOVE IT, the roomates are nice , the room as well , it's not that clean but who cares!
This morning i went to hemkop to buy some groceries , i want to cook something tonight : Crumble de courgettes aux pignons ( Squash crumble with seeds).
This afternoon i went to campushallen to try the POwer yoga class ( i have tried only the power yoga BAS class so far) , it's longer , but the teacher shows us more positions , i like it.
After i decided to go to the gym then it was time to the Body pump class , which consist in lifting weight , from 1.25,2.5 and 5 kilos , at the end you can barely feel your arm moving !! But it's good exercizes!
At 6.30 it's time to go home and rest !

Hej,
This morning class at 10 with Erik , he is so casual , you cannot tell if he's a teacher or a student!!
This course was interesting despite the fact that we made a bunch of mistakes , but everyone does !! Maybe not mixing up G7/G8 but .....
After the class we chat about the Brussel's trip , Barbara is taking the lead , Masha , Loic , Nina and I are taking care of Accomodation and Activities , Arthur , Richard and Ina are taking care of the institutions contacts and Sabrina the Flight's booking!!!!
At 12H30 i went back home , eat luch and prepare for my english class , i LOVE that class , it's my favourite so far , the teacher is so much fun , he teaches us tips and help us with grammar!!
At 5 i went to Campushallen for a bit , i considered trying Gympa , but watching the people running in circle for 20 minutes , i figure it out it was not for me!!!
I went back home , ate dinner , then went at Anja's to watch Grey's anatomy with Julie n Barbara and Nina with a delicious gateau au yahourt prepared by Julie!!!! Ahhh les inseccois!
Then HG for a while , but those drunk French are sooooooogrrrrrrrrrrr , we left around 12H30!

Lundi 6 Novembre

Hej,
Today At 3 we had the first class with Erik , a former phd Student from Gotenborg, as a result he's young!!! The class is called IPE ( International politics economics) , so it's about economics and the international institutions , as GATT ,IMF and so on.

From now on , the course seem ok , but a bitboring sometimes , i know already a big part of it , so this time it's easier for me. We have something to do for next week about our country and the institutions it's taking part in .

After we had the Swedish class with Peder , now i begin to really apreciate it , even if we do not work that much , Peder is so funny , today we meet with two others groups , to watch a movie , you know , the one you watch when you want to learn a foreign language. With stupide scenarios, and actors , this time it looks like a Z movie , so weird !!!!

Hej,
Hum this morning i woke up kind of late so i ate breakfast and then worked on my swedish homework right away.
At 4 i went to Sabrina's for Fika , she had baked a marvelous cake , with crunchy crust and soft inside. German cooked like chef !!! I'm not kidding
Then i wanted to go to the Saune because i was invited by my roomates as they booked the sauna for few hours, but when i got there , i was unable to find it , so i get back home to find the guys but no one was there , TOO BAD!! I'll go next time !

Samedi 4 Novembre

Hej,
This morning as every saturdays i went to campushallen to the Power Yoga Bas , class , it was nice because today she used new positions. With balance and focus!!
Then i went back home , grabed some lunch and went to Tornby by Bus , i met a Spanish girl at the bus stop and we spend a part of the day together , we ate at IKEA, yes yes you read correctly , there is a cheap and good restaurant there , you can eat salad , kottebullar (meatballs) and chocolate mousse for a reasonalble price ( cheaper and healthier than MC)

I bought some USEFUL stuff, a bathroom curtain, some fabric for the overall, hangers, potato peeler, egg beater, a beer glass, a tea cup, a light for my bike , batteries, an instrument to do tea!
Then i met Barbara and Masha who were shopping as well .

After i went home , drop off my acquisitions and prepared to go to Nina's for fika , well they ate rice while i ate apple . At 9 Masha organized a movie night at her place , SO FUNNY , the DVD player was not working well and we could not change the language , so we had to change movies , again and again and finally we watched Closer with Jude law , Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman and Clive Owen. It's a bit complicated still!

And after i went back home , the rain was falling down.......

Hej,
This morning at 10 it's the last course of international relations , youpiiiiii. It was a seminar during which we were split in smaller groups (3 groups of 5) to talk about our paper. The topics were different but two people took the same. The range went from North korea conflict to War in Afganistan or mine , The creation of the state of Israel.

After having talked about the topic , the teacher asked us to speak our mind obout the course , well ............. it's NOT good , i learned everything by myself, the course did not refer to the texts , which were so difficult that even native speaker ( Richard, Nathan) were lost.

Anyway , the day was beautiful , so i decided to go to campus hallen to exercize , guess who i met ??? Alexander, what a surprise LOL
Then i went back home and at 9 i went at Nina's for a pre-party but i did not went to flaman after , i do not like this place!!

Hej,
That's it i've spend my first night in my new room , i LOVE it , i met other people from the koridor , and they seem really nice. For those who do not know what it is , it's a place with 8 people living in their own rooms , each with bathroom and we share the Kitchen and the living room. It's a great experience to get to know swedish people and other erasmus.

This morning i finished my Final paper and send it to Per before 12 as requested , so EXCITING!!!! After i went to the bank to fill up my swedish account and be able to pay the rent of my new cheaper place.

As i was downtown, i went to Intersport to buy my new coat to brave the winter (oups Automn i forgot). It look nice , not too expensive and the girl there told me it was enough , SO!!
I went back home , grab some lunch and went to visit Barbara, she made me taste tea with jam in it , it's kind of weird!!!LOL

At 5H30 she went downtown to assist to a mass in english in the catholic church, i decided to go to campushallen to try the body pump course , well i like it , but my harms hurt now LOL

Mercredi 1 Novembre

Hey, today is the big day
I'm moving to Altersgatan 7C.21, but first i have to pack my thing and that is not an easy part , i though i had less stuff but i ended having 3 bags + 2 bags from IKEA . Hopefully Barbara showed up and helped me , because this morning when i got up i had a surprise , you know what????
It's SNOWING , i can's believe it , the temperature droped from 10 to - 2 , it freeezing , you cannotride your bikebecause it's slippery , what an adventure. I said goodbye to my place, took the keys to Studenbostader and took the new one.

I unpacked my things, went to Hemkop because i had nothing left, and then i figure it out that i had forgotten something in the old appartment , like all my spoons , knives and forks. It's always when you do not want to forget something that you actually forget it !!
But i called the guy that is living there now and i was able to pick it up.

I met two of my roomates , and they are really nice , we are 3 girls now and 5 boys , so you can imagine the kitchen is not that clean , but it still quite ok for me. The girl is from Germany , and he talked a bit about the corridor and other stuff , she said the guys here are really sweet ann not loud ! OUF

Now i have to finish my paper for tomorrow!! Vi ses

Today , i went to the English class, did i tell you that i like that teacher ???
and he remenber my name !!! That's a sign !!
We keep on doing the exercizes and once again , some people were missing (if you want to know why see the post on Monday 30 Octobre)

It's Halloween today, but i think not a lot of people will celebrate in our program as we are so far behind the schedule!!! with this f..... paper! The good think is that now i know what's is CONSTRUCTIVISM!!
After class i went to campushallen to exercize, it was nice, not to many people, and now i know yoga so i can practice on my own

Tomorrow i'm moving i can't wait, the weather is not so cold now , but still rainning

Monday 30 Octobre

Hej,
Today someone from Studenbostader is coming , to check if i did not break anything in the appartment( i'm not that kind of person !!!)
A cute guy went by 1PM and checked , everython was fine , maybe because i spent like 3 hours on cleaningggggg!!!

In the afternoon i went to Swedish class , there was not that many people , there are 3 reasons
1) They drop the class
2) They have to finish the big paper
3) It's dark and cold outside and they have better to do
Anyway during the class we met another group that learn swedish as well , it was interesting, now i now i prefer Peder as a teacher even if he's a bit , you know, SLLOOWWWW!!

At 8:30PM as everymonday we went to Barbara's for the 4 last episodes of Sex and the city , Carrie , left the horrible Russian guy and ended up with BIG , it's so romantic, that's why it won't happen in real life!
