Hej,

Today i got up and though well i have to find the topic for the big paper ! The thing is , that when you do not have any limit to choose the subject it's harder than if there was an actual imposed topic!

In the evening , i went to Flamman , to the THANK YOU PARTY organized by ESN staff : we went there by 7PM , had a beer n cider , and after sat with our team . It was a three courses dinner , bread with toasted cheese, Potatoes and chicken, and a cheesecake for dessert! One bottle of wine for 2 and one shot , moreover during the dinner Kerstin gave some prizes "Best Beer" "Best cow" .... and we got Bayley's mmmmmmmm

We as the milk bar were seated between the Finish and the Italian bar ( so louddddddddd) you can imagine how we had to yell to speak to our neighbours LOL
After the dinner , the party began , but the music is not that great , like best of the 8O's , so cheezy!!!! I liked to see my team , all of them are great people ! and also i had the chance to see my crush ( some of you know who is he !!!)

Then Kristin and I went to Anja's Halloween Party at her koridor , i met Barbara , Richard , Nina , ....

Hej,

This morning i get up at hold on people 7 AM , It was still dark night outside COME ON!
Well , shower, breakfast and bike riding till G huset for the Seminar on feminism, hopefully it was only cold , not raining , so i figure my jacket and a sweater would be enough !

Two hours later, seminar over, it's raining .... AGAIN..... i think we are cursed or something! None of us had the appropriate jacket , you can imagine how wet everyone was , once home!
For my part i decided to go to campus hallen , to practice a bit , and hope at the same time that the rain would stop or at least calm down.

Well not exactly , i had to go back home and face the rain , not as bad as last time, but i was still wet , i think i need to buy one of those waterproof pants that you wear over your clothes, and boots LOL

In the end of the afternoon , Barbara and I went to herle's for fika and we stayed there till dinner ( as in restaurant , really good), we chat a bit about school, the assignement , internship, christmas food!! and then everyone went home .

Hej,

Moving D-7, i can't wait!

Today we had our last lecture with Per , too bad ! No more international relations theory , but still two seminar ( discussion about one theory) to go .

After the class , i went back home , read a bit the book for tomorrow , quite interesting for once, and then at 5'o Clock , Barbara show up to do some cooking , i went to Herle's to borrow one bowl and here we were , baking in my kitchen a chocolate cake , trying to follow the recipe instructions , it was fun and tasty !! I like those kind of afternoon.

Then i had to finish this book ( I DID IT) and prepare the questions for the seminar tomorrow !!

Hej,
This morning , it's rainning again !!! I cannot wait the snow !!! Anyway i had to fill my fridge , because i have nothing left to eat expect pasta.
My trip to hemkop was not that easy as it was raining , but when you have to go , you have to go! The paper bags hold the groceries (MIRACLE) till the appatment , that is what matter ( nit like last time when my paper bag tore up )

Then english class at 3 , the rain was slowing down, so i manage to get to the university , not to wet , it was okay. I love that english class , it's my favourite course , so far , the teacher is a real teacher ( not like the others) , we learn great stuff, we correct the compedium on glogalization in groups of 3 , i was with nina and an Indonesian guy !

At the end the teacher handed out the paper we sent him by email and correct it !! what a gobbledygook ( charabia) with strange signs ( maybe he is an alien as well ?)
After the class i decided to go to campushallen to practice a little , then at 6H30 i went back home, but before leaving campushallen i saw people coming in totally soaked , i got scared and i was right , it was POURING rain outside , i though : THAT'S GONNA BE FUN...

Well it was in a way , 5 minutes after leaving , my jeans were soaked , so as my shoes and sweater. What a challenge to defy both the rain and the wind , still some people were riding their bikes in the direction of the university , ARE YOU CRAZY GUYS ?

Anyway at home i went straight to the bathroom to get my wet clothes out , i hate the feeling of wet, cold jeans sticking to your skinn brrrrrrrrrr

Lundi 23 Octobre

Hej,

This morning , i woke up with a strange noise, i went to the window , and ... and ... it is raining like storm raining!!! And i have class at 10 , okay i have to find a way to get there without being soaked !!Hum hummm

I left by 9H30 and i did like 5 minutes of biking and i was already wet all over ! That's not gonna work till School ! NO WAY!

I call Barbara , she's taking the bus , i'll do that as well , so that i arrrive in class not as wet as you can imagine , it was okay ! Half of the people were missing , i wonder why????????????

The teacher began the course , and again, so boring , philosophical, metaphysical, anaything but concrete course map , as 1) principle of constructivism 2) Weakness and Strenghs 3) Main Authors but NO, maybe it's not the point of a class that teaches you International relations afterall!

I stand one hour , then i left to print out the article for Wenesday and have a tea at the K building , it's nice to rest there!
After i waited the bus a bit to Ryd , but it was necessary as the rain was showing up again!

In the afternoon i went back for the swedish class , rain stopped , i was able to take my bike , up there . The class can be a bit boring sometimes, but now i have so much fun with the girls , and the teacher , step by step i begin to appreciate him , even if he teach his way !

Then at 19H30 back to home , and at 8H30 traditional Sex and the city night but this time at Masha's , 4 episodes in a row ! Barbara's Brother went as well , he is nice , they discovered Prison break and now Barbara cannot stop watching it LOL

Well.... this week end nothing really exciting , just reading texts , writing and understanding my english and swedish homework!!!

The paper on feminism , is better than the one on Realism but i'll never now until the end of the course , as the teacher is unable to correct nor grade 30 papers !!!!

I do not get it at this point , what is he doing , if not grading , nor explaining texts we have to read, neither a clear class ???? Hum Hummmmmmmm

Oh yeah i almost forgott , Saturday morning , i went to power yoga bas in Campus hallen , it was like yoga for debutant, yeah right !!! some positions are easy but some a quite ..... well .... difficult! But still you fell good and relax after , but muscles sour next morning ! OUCH

Hej,

This morning , i went downtown to the bank (Nordea) to fix a problem, not to serious but still, the website was not working anymore , so no way to pay my bill online !!!! It was just a matter of code ( i have just so many code to remember) OUF!!!

Then in the afternoon , i read the article and begin the research for the paper on feminism, then later i went to Masha's place , it's nice , her room is like my room at home !! And we reviewed the pictures on Berkeley : and she recognized someone she does not like at all , but i won't tell who...........

The weather is so bad these days it's very depressing !!!! Hopefully friends are there !

Hej,
Well .... this morning i finnish to read the article on feminism (less harder than Lapid the Alien), it was interesting !

At 3-5 class with per , oh my God , i have the feeling (shared with some of my fellows) than it's more a philosophical class than a international relation theory class. I do not get his point , no that 's not true , i got the beggining , with the picture on the signature of the declaration of independance , then i was anable to focus even if i tried hard !

Anyway we have to do essais and reading for next week so i hope it will be better!

After class i went to campushallen to do some practices , outside it's sooooo cold brrrrrr, then around 5 i went home , first i stopped at Rydcentrum to pick up the package my mom sent me : what a surprise , with the books , there was some belgium chocolate !!! lol

Today class again !!! Youpiiiiii

In the morning trip to hemkop : so exiting , but one of my bags cracked, not so exiting !

Then at 3 , englsih class , but it was not like a real english class , until 4 he just spoke about cheating , cheating , cheating, the book he HAVE to buy .... when are we gonna start the course , after the 15 minutes break ?

Whatever ! We did some group exercizes as narrowing down from a general subject to a specific , as the relation between students and alcohol LOL
Then brainstorming on what were the things that shocked you when you arrive in sweden ?
Oh it's already 17 , the time goes so fast when we have fun !! At least we have some homework to do !

After i print out the article for tomorrow , i forgot that we had to read something , i'll do it once back home. Now i'm going to practice in Campushallen a bit!!!

At 6h30 i'm going home , took a shower and begin to read ...five minutes later i droppped the first text , written by Lapid , i do not get half of the world , it's worse than Ashley , that's crazy , but i think i discover his secret : Lapid is an Alien , that's why we as human , do not understand his language ....

Hej,
Today was a full-activity day , i went to the international theory class between 13-15 , It was okay but i've still to do some research on my own in order to understand his saying. He is not what we can call a clear man, he tend to jump from one subject to another without giving exact definition ! Anyway

After the class , i went to Campushallen ( the sport center) with Masha , and Arthur : the French Team, in order for them to visit the facility and get to know the prices , we lost Arthur after visiting the Ladies locker !!! I bough a membership for one month to see how it goes , then i'll think about 4 months in a row ! I started right away with 8 kilometers on the bicycle , then some bodybuiling ( but not like you know who, who dress in black and goes to the gym every day, and whose name begin with A !)

Then at 17 i went to see my favourite teacher Peder Joan sson , and what a surprise he cut his hair , it SO weird , no he looks like a big baby LOL. The class went as usual slow slowwwww wait a minute am i sleeping ? No no , You knwo who is so self centered as the male version in the class that it's difficult to be concentrated , furthermore we had to the mid-term evaluation Poor Peder.....

At 19:30 , it's the end , 5 minutes to get dress and face the cold outside , moreover when you ride your bike it's worse , because of the wind !! I have a strange feeling that it smell like it's gonna snow soon .....

When i get back home , took a shower , ate dinner , and get to Barbara's to the monday Sex and the city reunion , 4 episodes in a row !!! It was fun , this time a guy was there : Marek
He hold it till the end , he's brave , you can be proud Barbara

Hej,

Today it was a nice , interesting day, i met Sabrina , Johan ( Sabrina's boyfriend) , Barbara and Marek ( Barbara's boyfriend , she hates it when i say that lol ) , you see the point ? Anyway at 11AM everybody was in the car direction Norkoping film festival !

We got there early so we did a bit of sighseeing , with Barbara as a guide , we went through the old industrial part of Norkoping where Campus Norkoping is located . It is so nice , big red bricked buildings , canal , the ideal place to study and spend good time !

Then we went to the "church look a like building" to get the ticket to see to two movies we choose , there , we met Masha , Anja, Nina , Kristin , Pavlo, Marlene and David a PHD student . We split in two groups because some wanted to see other movies : the first one was called Sweet land , it was an American movie , but they spoke Norwegian and German as well , without subtitles it's kind of odd !! But still the movie was okay , just okay , it was a love story between a German girl and an American farmer with world war two as a background .

Then at 16H30 we walked toward the next movie ( Masha and Nina did not join because they had to read the articles , as they went to Riga , they were running out of time ) called Barefoot or Barefuss in original version ( German) it was subtitled in English , it's a love story/road trip/comedy about a girl , living in a psychiatric clinique because her mom who just died , kept her captive for 19 years, and a man , who kept loosing his jobs , and one day get to the clinique to apply for a cleaning job , but got fired again and see the girl trying to committ suicide ......
It's sweet story , naive and funny ! You should see it if you can !

Then 18H30 , it's time to go home , it's getting so cold , brrrrrr buy guys see you !!!

Hej,

Today not much , i went for my weekly groceries shopping at Hemkop , hopefully it's not too far from my place because i'm not really into carrying bags of groceries lol

Then at 3-5 there was a new class i've signed up to , Academic english for master student , there was not that much people because some of them were at the conference with sexy G....
This teacher seems good , he has a british accent and i totally understand him, he gave us homework, time shedule , we had to present our neighbour , mine was easy it was Arthur , and at the end he gave us a paper to fill about cheating .

In this university , it's THE thing , they are so focus on it , it's like alcohol in Karallen LOL

Anyway after i've printed out the next article to read for international relation classes on Monday .

Hej,

Between 10 -12 pm we had a seminar with half of the class , it consit in discussing the questions we had to prepare home , and the articles we had to read : Waltz and Ashley !
We were didvided in two smaller group so that we can discuss it more easily : i was with Nathan, Kristin , Anja, Masha, Mehmet, Stephane, and Sabrina , they understand pretty well the subject and handled the questions , i had some trouble , to understand the concepts and theories , above all when some are talking you do not see exactly their point !

Anyway , i will work on my own at home on my books so that i'll be able to do something better next time.

After , by 17 PM Swedish Class , i'm so glad to see Peeder Joansson , every monday, this time Masha was their too , and not on Wenesday as usuall because she won't be there , anyway , we chatted a bit and i did not really get the class , i'll still did my exercizes however!

I went back home to eat dinner and after we met at Barbara's for a girl's night of Sex and The city : Four episodes in a row , it was so much fun !!! I can't wait the next session!

Hej,

Today it's easy i've been doing just one thing beside eating and taking shower , i read , read and read . Not enjoyable , funny , easy books but complicated , super theoretical , long article on international relation theory !!!

The first two were quite easy but then Ashley showed up and all my understanding fall apart !
How one person can be as complicated in 63 pages ? That's a mystery , at least i figure it out some of it , but it took something like 4 hours to finish it !!!

Now i'm ready for tomorrow ........ to tell the teacher that the article he chooses are written in unknown language , that's why we could not read it !

Hej,

This morning i got up at 9 , i feel better than last night !! A good night sleep and you feel good
Anyway , i did my laundry , finished my swedish exercizes and keep on sewing my overall!!

I want it ready for the next kravall ......

Then i've began to read the article , but WHAT IS THAT ? It's so difficult : Paradigms, Neorealism, ladder of abstraction,Systemic approaches .... Come on , you need a PHD background in international relations to get all these concepts LOL ( can you imagine when you come from INSEEC )

Then later i went to Kristin , she organised a dinner for Tina and I , it was really nice from her , and she cooked good stuff, she offered some french cheese , with grape D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S

There was so many koridor parties , i think almost 50% of koridor in RYD are doing koridor parties on Saturdays LOL
