Samedi 9 Decembre: London Trip med Basiaa

This moring we woke up at 7AM thanks again Basiaa, let's say it was because of Swedish jet lag LOL. Anyway Eva's boyfriend , Andrew, was kind enough to come to Canada Water , to pick up our stull (it save our lives , because there was no more locker in London , safety rules)
At 10AM we met with Ula , Basiaa cute friend , at Leceister (pronounce leister but dunno why) and went together to Camden town market, it was Basiaa first time and she enjoyed a lot, even if it was a bit crowded, people all over, smeling foreing food, she bought things for herself and family. We ate noodles and springrolls but my toothache kept on driving me crazy that's why it took me a bit more time to eat.
Then direction, Tate modern on the other side of Thames, we went through Millenium Bridge next to Saint Paul , AMAZING, we stopped in the middle , took pictures and left Ula , and went to Tate modern, met Ula, the girl , this time, chatted a bit around a drink at the coffee shop.
Basiaa and I went then visiting the museum , my favourite part was of course , Magritte painting , he is my favourite painter, we saw also , Warhol's , Dali's and Miro's and other , well quite .... strange but still intersting , modern art most of all Surealism is so far from conventional form of arts like renaissance that people do not understand it, it's a pity.
At 5PM we went to take the Subway , to Covent garden, what the .... the elevator were stuck down stairs , we had to climb 6 stories , E-X-H-A-U-S-T-I-N-G . On the street it was just people everywhere , the station was jammed , she met Magda , but it was so late , that we decided to have coffe at the place where the ballet was due , we found it , ask for the ticket n but they did not have it , WHAT ??? Ok we were in the wrong place , we finally found the Royal Opera on covent garden , picked up the ticket and sat for a coffee at Starbucks , Basiaa got present from Magda , and Basiaa got her traditional Swedish Gift.
At 6H45 we gathered at the entrance of the opera house , put the clothes at the cloak room and just run to find our seats , because if you are late they do not let you in , we found it , 2 minutes after the Ballet started . The opera is the more incredible building i've ever seen , we were all the way up , as we had stading seat only 5£.
The ballet consited in one prologue and three acts , with two breaks of 20 minutes in the middle , the ballet was the sleeping beauty and it was amazing. At first we manage to seat on the stairs but someone report us and we were asked to take our stading seats , and this guy just stayed there till the end. The dancing part was as spectucalr as the music played by a live orchestra, the scenery and everything was beautiful , even if we standed for 3 hours it worthed it. At the end around 10PM , we met with Andrew next to the Ritz hotel and join Eva's in the bar she had a birtday party , everyone looked at us , as we were not that smartly dressed , but anyway.
They had drinks for free , he had one drink which was really good , after that we left , took Andrew's car who drive us to Eva's parents , they live in the fifth zone , in a cute tipically english house. They are polish and know Basiaa as well as her parents for ages.
They prepared us two beds and it was time to go to bed.
