Vendredi 8 Decembre: London Trip med Basiaa
Hej,
Today , we woke up at 7H'( vafter having slept like 5 hours , well , 2 hours for Basiaa who was not at ease with the BED MATES concept , maybe because she was in the middle LOL
Rafa left us the key and we left at 9H40 , first stop, buying travel card 3 days, it apeared that it was cheaper to buy three times one day, do!!!
Then we went to Oxford street to do some shopping, so expensive, British did won to the loterry or what ?? We still found some stuff , already a bunch of people shopping for Christmas but not Christmas decorations , i was disapointed.
After , we went to the national portrait gallery and the photo gallery next to Trafalgar square, with Award winning picutres and exposition on US family in the 30's as well as domestic landscape (pictures of people in their home , in Spain, Italy, France)
We ate lunch in a falafel/salad restaurant, run by Polish ! Can you believe it !!, Basiaa called Magda , her friend but she was not answering , so we went to her School (she's a teacher) which was in the last station of zone 2 , once there , we tried to find Middle row school , but no one knew where it was , we looked for it one hour , and finally found it.
We took the subway, picked up Magda's children, which were in three different places , and went home, she has a really nice place and a spacious kitchen. She prepared snacks and dinner , we talked at the same time, and she took care of the children as well. She has a lot of courage , three children under 6 and her husband who work a lot in a restaurant , but she still manage.
Then around 9PM, we took the bus to the next tube station, something green, and from there took the subway to Canada water , WHAT A DAY
